A typical solo operator pays $200 to $400 a month across six to ten disconnected tools. QuickBooks for invoicing. Calendly for booking. Mailchimp for email. Buffer for posts. HoneyBook for proposals. Squarespace for the site. Twilio for the texts. Each one is fine. Together they're a part-time job nobody asked for.
We watched dozens of operators try to keep all of it in their head. The pattern is always the same: they pick the two or three tools they can stand, and the rest of the work just doesn't get done. Reviews don't get asked for. Quotes don't get followed up on. The website hasn't been touched in two years. The Instagram has six posts.
